  2. setting characters • At home • At school • At classroom • This is the same settings in my life. Mom and Dad Ramona Beezus Ramona’s mom and dad remind me of my mom and dad because they had two babies, but not at the same time.

  3. Ramona Quimby • Ramona is eight years old. Ramona is a girl with problems. She likes her sister Beezus. She was nice when her dad’s hair was thin. She was mean to Willa Jean when she was trying to get through when they were playing dress up . She was nervous when she threw up. The teacher thought Ramona was a nuisance when the egg in her hair. Then her teacher thought she was a super nuisance when she threw up in class.

  4. Author’s Message • Ramona’s problems are at school and at home. Chapter has one problem. She had a problem with Yard Ape throwing Ramona’s pink eraser back and forth like monkey in the middle. The problem was solved by Ramona catching the eraser. When she threw up that was a problem. It was solved by staying home and eating and drinking tea and dry toast. When dads hair was getting thin it was a problem for him. It was solved by being nice to her dad when he was in a bad mood.

Book Recommendation • I'm reading Ramona Quimby, Age 8 by Beverly Cleary. • The genre is realistic fiction. • Ramona really made the kitchen a disaster. • The food was bad but their mom and dad handled it. • They felt good when they tasted the food that it was good. • Ramona and Beezus are good to make supper. • They were going too fast they forgot the noodles . • I recommend this to my friend because it is funny.

Connections • Ramona had a egg in her hair reminds me of syrup in my hair. • Ramona knew she had fly eggs in her stomach reminds me of mucus in my stomach. • Ramona went to a restaurant its like going to Feedlot. • Waiting in the car reminds me of when I was in the nurse’s room waiting to go home.
