ELEMENT OF THE DAY • 15 – Phosphorus – P • Elemental phosphorus is highly flammable. One version of it, white phosphorus, was used in WWII to burn cities down, while red phosphorus is used on the tips of matches • In compounds, phosphorus in the soil is critical for food production.
Attendance / Bellwork • Collect lab (rip out pg 23-24) • Quiz! • States of Matter Notes • New & Good • Homework • Late labs • Per 1,2,8: pg 33-36 • Per 4,6: pg 38 Agenda
