  1. Warm up 10/10/14 • Question: What happens to the temperature of a substance during a phase change? • Answer: • It stays the same • Goal: I will explore phase change graphs.

  2. ELEMENT OF THE DAY • 18 – Argon – Ar • Argon is the cheapest of the noble gases, and is almost completely unreactive. It is colorless normally, but glows sky blue when current is run through it. • Argon, mixed with nitrogen, is used in light bulbs to keep the filament from catching on fire.
