Today’s Learning Objectives The Communication Work Group designed the following objectives to enhance our communication skills, both within NTAC and with colleagues in the states. • Increase staff members’ awareness, knowledge and skills related to active listening methods and skills. • Increase staff members’ awareness and knowledge of the benefits and barriers related to using active listening skills. • Increase staff members’ awareness of the power of active listening skills when establishing “Psychological Truth” with a communication partner.
