  3. Childhood • Born on January 4,1643 • His birth was premature • Was born in Woolsthorpe, England to a family of farmers • He was anything but happy and often had emotional breakdowns

  4. Education • He studied at King’s School at Grantham • Entered Cambridge University in 1661 • Then was elected a fellow of Trinity College in 1667.

  5. Accomplishments • His accomplishments were: • Building the first light telescope • Came upon the “Laws of Motion” • Also his “Law of Gravitation” • He also came up with the Theory of Differential Calculus

  6. Death • Died on March 31, 1727 in London, England
