THE RIGHT EXERCISE FOR YOU • You don’t have to do strenuous exercise for long periods of time – increasing physical activity can be part of your everyday routine and can be beneficial and cheap! • If you want to start doing lots of exercise (like going to a gym) or you have particular physical problems it is wise to check with your doctor first about the type and amount of exercise you do. • Avoid doing strenuous exercise if you feel unwell, for example if you have a cold – let your body get better. • If you feel unwell during exercise, stop and see your doctor before doing more.
