What are Piles? • Piles, also known as hemorrhoids are enlarged veins located at the junction of the rectum and anus. • At the junction of the rectum and anus, there is a natural cushion of tissue and veins, which, along with the sphincter muscle, is responsible for the complete closure of the anus and prevents any leakage. www.indiapiles.com
