  2. Assignment • You are doing a short investigation on food. You will begin by investigating what you know about what food options you have and how these options do to your health. • Complete power point by filling out at least 4-5 statements for each slide. • For the mind map slides, analyze each slide and determine 1 did ideas. Please complete this presentation, save it (in your dropbox) and email it to me. • We will watch Food Inc. on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday.   9. Mind mapsWhat are they? • Mind maps organize questions and answers using visuals and words • It starts with a big idea and branches out into other more specific ideas. • In the next slides, read and identify the big idea for each of the mind maps.

  10. How might food be an issue presently?Reflect in about 4-5 sentences

Interview a parent • For homework, interview your parents. • Ask them what types of food they ate when they were kids. • Has food food changed since they were in middle school? • What concerns do they have about the pace as which food is being created/processed now? Do they have any concerns about our food?
