  2. DPBO Standards • No Late Inventories • Due by the ____ of the following month (June inventories due by ____) • No Late Directives • Due by suspense date unless extension is given by DPBO • Unit Excess less than 10%

DPBO Goals • Give the unit commander as many tools as possible to aid in mandated property responsibility obligations (inventories, hand receipts, etc) • Ensure directives published are valid and communicated to all participants • Reduce Division Excess by 50% each fiscal year enabling commanders to concentrate maintenance and budget efforts on equipment needed to fight tonight

  4. DPBO Pledge • As experts in Unit Supply, we will assist units in proper supply procedures and associated paperwork and attend or assist in unit 92Y MOS training if requested • Respond to all inquiries within 24 hours • Monthly Reports ready for distribution by 2d Working Day of each Month • Available by appointment during non-duty hours

  7. Conclusion The DPBO accounts for property that each unit maintains and contributes to the ability of each unit to perform their mission with the right major equipment at the right time, visibility of assets from the foxhole to Department of the Army and excellent technical advice and support.
