  2. Unique Vacations Tours Italians usually don’t see these beautiful wonders of the USA. My name is Ella Wileman and I am here to show you my 5 favorite landmarks of the USA. I will be touring you for Mendenhall Glacier, Alaska, Volcano National Park, Hawaii. I will also be touring you on Mammoth Cave, Kentucky, Everglades National Park, Florida. One last place will be The Great Sand Dunes, Colorado. Let’s Start!!!!

  3. Mammoth Cave Our first destination will be Mammoth Cave in Kentucky. It is 52830 acres long. There is a series of chamber and narrow passages made by limestone. The known ones are combined to make over 345 miles. The cave contains the mummified body of a man believed to be dated back in the pre-Columbian time period. Mammoth Cave was a long-time Native American habitation before it was discovered by Kentucky pioneers in 1799.

  4. The Great Sand Dunes Our second destination will be the Great Sand Dunes in Colorado. Some sandy waves rise higher than a 70 story building. They hide a bounty of underground water that helps nearby streams and rivers and recycles the water to help the dunes. There is a popular predator hiding among the sandy waves called a tiger beetle. Watch out!!!!

  5. Mendenhall Glacier After, we will arrive at Mendenhall Glacier, in Alaska. It is about 12 miles long. Mendenhall Glacier is also 12 miles from downtown Juneau. The glacier and the surrounding area is protected by the Mendenhall Glacier Recreation Area.

  6. Volcano National Park Change out your coats!!! Our next destination will be Volcano National Park in Hawaii. This park includes 2 volcanos, Mauna Loa and Kilauea. Mauna Loa stands 13,677 feet above seawater. Kilauea looks like a saucer and hollowed out into a broad plain. Visitors can view eruptions from nearby island shores or the base of the volcano.

  7. Everglades National Park Our last, but not least stop will be Everglades National Park Florida. Its jungle-like plant life includes saw grass, delicate orchids, lacy cypress trees, palms, pines, and twisty mangrove trees that reach approximately 70 feet tall. Crocodiles, alligators, manatees, swamp birds, and many other types of species live there.

  8. Compass Rose
