Get Ready(Monday, September 9th) Managers: • Attendance: Know who is absent from your group today. • Collector:Pass out graded work for the people in your group. • Supply: Check out a novel for anyone that does have a copy of AOTA. • On-Task: Ensure that everyone is quiet and on task. • Enter class quietly. • Sit in your assigned seat. • Unpack and place the following on your desk: • GMS agenda • All of the Above by Shelley Pearsall (if you don't have a copy the Supply Manager may check you out a copy) • Pen or pencil • Place your back packs on the back of your desk. • Line up to get your ELA binders. • Open your binders to the “Calendar Journal” section. • Today’s topic: What are your thoughts on Math class?

  2. Let’s Review Our Last Class We completed an “Anticipation Guide” We added three anticipation statements to the guide. We “took a stand” and either agreed or disagreed with each statement. We analyzed the cover of our extended text using the “Cover Analysis” handout. We said the author, Shelley Pearsall, used triangles, brown faces, primary colors, and white font (located at the bottom of the book) because…
