  3. Government can help reduce rural unemployment • Incentives for Job portals targeted at rural population • Collaboration by partnering with them in schemes like NREGA • Selection of candidates for openings through their job portals • Added incentive for people to enroll on their sites

  4. Possible Policy Changes • Mandatory stint in rural areas for completion of degrees • Solve the problem of insufficient volunteers • New creative ideas from bright minds • Advantage of low cost which can be borne easily by the government

An organized and dedicated Government initiative • A incubation center for grass root level innovations • Each district to have one center responsible for promoting grass root innovation • These centers to provide all relevant innovative products and services used else where in the country to people of that area • Officials to visit villages and search and encourage other innovations • Responsibility of these centers to recognize the potential of any innovative idea or product and reward the entrepreneur • Arrange financial and technical support to implement ideas in reality

Relevance to MNC’s Extremely important to all consumer industries due to the sheer size of the population • Increased life style and health care would definitely increase demand for products produced by large MNC’s, especially FMCG companies like HUL and P&G • Innovations like Babajob.com contribute directly by providing appropriate employees in the clerk hierarchy of such MNC’s • With better education to villagers, Agri-financing in villages will become more accessible for banks • There are also a realistic risk of unorganized competition for MNC’s from some of such innovations like Mitticool
