  3. Development Strategy • Opening-up of economy and promoting of exports • Commercial agreements • Structural changes in Economy performance

  4. Commercial Agreements • El Salvador and Costa Rica • Iceland, Norway, Switzerland, Liechtenstein

  5. Main exporting products • Copper : Main producer at worldwide level • Minerals and molybdenum concentrate • Cellulose • Fish meat: Salmons • Wine • Wood • Main destination countries for Chilean exports: USA, Japan, China

  6. State Modernization • Modernization of international trade-involved agencies • Development of e-Government: Use of ICTs to increase Chile’s competitiveness - Ranked N° 22 in the E-Government Readiness Index - Ranked N° 6 in the On-line State Index, among the 25 best-assessed countries
