Football . What Is Football. Football is 2 teams of 11 players, each on a long field with goal lines and goal posts at either end. The football is what you need to handball, kick, bounce and get a goal or a point.

What Is Football • Football is 2 teams of 11 players, each on a long field with goal lines and goal posts at either end. • The football is what you need to handball, kick, bounce and get a goal or a point. • The positions are full forward, centre half-forward, forward pocket, half forward, ruck, centre, ruck rover, rover, wing, full back, centre half-back, back pocket and halfback.

Rules • Ball.  Must be spherical, made of leather (or similar) 68-70 cm in circumference and of a certain pressure.   Number of Players.  Two teams of no more than 11 players (one of which is the goalkeeper).  A game cannot start if either team has less than 7 players.Equipment.  Players must wear a jersey, shorts, stockings, shin guards and footwear.   • Free Kicks.  Are given by the referee for fouls and misconduct. A free kick can either be direct or indirect.  A goal can be scored directly from a direct free kick.  A goal can only be scored from an indirect free kick if it touches at least one other player first. The opposing team must be a minimum of 9.15 m from the ball when the free kick is taken.Throw-in.  Used to restart play after the whole of the ball has crossed the touch line.Goal kick.  Used to restart play after a goal has been scored.

  6. Why Do I Like Football • I like football because it is entertaining. It has a lot of thrill and excitement. I g0 for Richmond and they are the best team even though we haven't won a grand final in years. But I still love cheering for them.

  7. How To Kick A Football • When you have the football you need to have the football facing down and a firm grip, and bend your knee and kick away.
