  1. The common application for data loggers Data loggers are used to record events, observable and measure systemically. Its requirement arises whenever there’s a need to take a continuous reading of an instrument. Multi-use datalogger is a necessary device used in the field of Geotechnical instrumentation and monitoring. A data logger can also be called a data recorder. A data logger is an electronic device that continuously records data over time with the location either using a built-in instrument or through an externally interfaced one. The measurement may include air temperature, soil moisture, relative humidity, water temperature and many more. They are usually smaller in size and equipped with an internal microprocessor, data storage sensors and battery. Depending upon its application, it can be used outdoors, underwater, indoor or anywhere. It also has a longer battery life. There are some applications where data loggers are used. Let’s discuss them below: 1: Safety and health of the workplace Data loggers assist in keeping the workers who made these products safe. Currently being used in several industries where workers’ health and safety may be important. They’re especially common in places where air quality is an issue. Carbon dioxide data loggers are being used to monitor air quality in an industry setting to keep workers safe. It can also be used to confirm that buildings’ HVAC systems are working properly. 2: Monitoring in buildings Monitoring temperature and humidity in public and commercial buildings such as museums, galleries, stately homes and warehouses. Structural health monitoring of existing buildings to keep track of building’s performance over time through an effort of nearby construction or evacuation. The data logger creates an early warning in case of an emergency, to take preventive measures. They can also be used where Monkey Pox PCR kits are kept.

  2. 3: Monitoring tunnel Comprehensive tunnel monitoring for the long-term safety of the tunnel to study the behaviour of the tunnel over time. Especially concerning the rheological behaviour of the rock mass and changes that are obvious in the fault zones, walled sections, inflow, etc. Several instruments such as tilt metres, strain gauges, etc. are installed on the inner lining of the tunnels to monitor deformities if any. 4: Farming It seems like farming is not an area where technology is used much. Technology is helping the agriculture industry grow greater quantities and better quality food for everyone. They are doing this by making the farming process more data-driven through the use of data loggers. Also, it is being used for a variety of advancements in farming. They are used to record the hydrographic condition, record the weather, etc. There are many common applications that just scratch surfaces of what data loggers are used for. Data loggers can be used in almost any industry to improve their data-driven decision-making.
