Hardware setup USB A to B FOR TSW3070EVM 5V for TSW1400EVM 6V for TSW3070EVM Output to Oscope Clock signal 500MHz 6dBm Mini usb for TSW1400EVM
DAC5682Z GUI LOAD • If board is connected correctly, status will indicate “Connected to DAC5682Z EVM!” • Click “Register Config”
DAC5682Z GUI Load Cont… Step 2 Step 1 • Step 1 – click “Load Regs” under CDCM7005 tab and select “CDCM7005_4x.txt” • Step 2 – click “Load Regs” under DAC5682Z tab and select “DAC5682Z_4x.txt”
Setup DAC in HSDC Pro • Launch HSDC Pro, select Serial Number (DAC Capture Card) • Click OK
Setup DAC in HSDC Pro • Select the “DAC5682Z” from the FW dropdown • Click OK to load the FW
Setup DAC in HSDC Pro • Go back to the DAC GUI and click the DLL reset radio button twice • The DLL light should turn from red to green
Setup DAC in HSDC Pro • Set “Data Rate” to “125M” and “DAC Option” to “2’s Complement”
Setup DAC in HSDC Pro Step 1 Step 2 • Step 1 – Click “Load External Pattern File” • Step 2 – Select “DAC5682z customer pattern file.csv” and click OK
Setup DAC in HSDC Pro • Click Send to start waveform playback
