  2. Macedonia is located in Europe. Some of the main cities in Macedonia are: Skopje, Bitola, Prilep, Ohrid ,Tetovo, Komanovo, Veles ,Gostivar, Kavadarci and Stramica. Macedonia is a very small country and in the past other countries have stolen part of Macedonia.

  3. Macedonia has beautiful cities and in Macedonia there also has great beaches.

  4. Maznik is a home made delicious food from Macedonia. Maznik has different kinds of recopies. They come in spinach, cheese, meat, apple and Many more.

  5. Kifle are one of Macedonia’s best foods. Some people buy them from the shops but they are best homemade. In kifle there has cheese and sun flower seeds.

  6. Step 1:Place sheets of filo pastry on a clean work surface. Cover with a clean tea towel and a damp tea towel (to prevent pastry drying out). Brush one pastry sheet with melted butter. Top with a second sheet. Brush with butter. Repeat layers to use one third of the filo sheets. Repeat with remaining sheets to make 3 filo stacks. Step 2: Place one filo stack in prepared pan. Top with half the nut mixture, spreading evenly. Top with second filo stack and remaining nut mixture, finishing with final pastry stack. Step 3: Using a small sharp knife, score the pastry into squares. Score each square diagonally. Once cooked and cooled, cut baklava using score lines as a guide.

  8. Macedonian Dancers In Macedonia there has Macedonian dancers that perform in groups. Macedonians dance at weddings, balls and we also dance at special occasions.

  9. Celebrations In Macedonia we celebrate Christmas which is on the 7th of January. We also celebrate New years and Easter but Easter is always on a different day. On the 14th of January was the old new year and on that day we make maznik with a dollar coin in it. Who ever got the money would be the lucky person for the year. We still do celebrate that day but not for new years.

  10. Facts • Macedonia used to be part of Yugoslavia • Separated in 1991 on September • Macedonia celebrates Ilinden on the 2nd of august because that is when Krusevo became a republic in 1903 • Population is about 2 million people • Greece, Bulgaria and Serbia took part of Macedonia
