  6. The Mission of FVHS Athletics: The mission of FVHS Athletics is to provide student-athletes the opportunity to compete successfully in a high school program which is an integral part of their educational experience.Through well-designed athletic programs promoting community and school pride, FVHS Athletics will provide equitable participation opportunities for student-athletes to develop their leadership potential, grounded in the principles of ethics, integrity, hard work and moral character. Each program will accomplish this mission by developing within each student-athlete a sense of personal satisfaction earned through their contribution towards their team’s success. The FVHS athlete will feel valued, supported, and encouraged through their participation in Baron Athletics, and in so doing will build a life-long love of sport and the maintenance of a healthy life style beyond their years at FVHS.

  7. Athletics and WASC- What’s Our Role? Promote a College-Going Culture: Athletes Summit in September- promote awareness of opportunities to continue playing beyond the 12th grade, which so many are unaware of—Div. III and NAIA Share your college playing experiences with your athletes- it will trigger their interest. Build Leaders: Engage the Student Athlete to think beyond their primary sport– the Multi-Sport Athlete – we as a school reap the benefits of a student-athlete who’s leadership is not tied to just one program. Don’t Ever Forget- We are Creating the Kind of Student Which We Are Telling WASC attends FVHS
