Cool Cities Initiative • Ameren Illinois Utilities are supportive of efforts to reduce greenhouse gas emissions • Ameren Corporation recently published a comprehensive report on its actions and policy position on climate change.   3. 1990 City-wide Usage • Ameren Utilities lack ability to reconstruct billing data for 1990. • Alternative methodology that cities can use to estimate city-wide usage information can be derived from several sources. • Average usage data • Census data • Customer information Illinois Utilities

Estimation Method • Ameren Utilities will provide average 1990 usage per household and by small commercial customer. • Census households multiplied by average usage will provide residential total • City data used to estimate number of small businesses and applies usage value • For schools, colleges and large business, city should seek estimate of usage directly from customer.
