  3. What is butterfat? • The natural fat of milk and a major component of butter

  4. What is marbling? • The intramuscular fat that gives meat its flavor and tenderness

  5. What is the process of dressing cattle? • Removing the head, hide, hooves, and viscera from the carcass of an animal

  6. How are pigs processed? • They leave the skin on pigs. They also have the highest dressing percentage (72%) of all animals

  7. What is a good practice for disease prevention in a dairy? • The entire milking parlor must be thoroughly washed between milking cycles to help prevent disease
