  6. WHAT IS SINGLE WINDOW? Single Window is a procedure that allows parties involved in trade and transport to lodge standardized information and documents with a single entry point to fulfill all import, export, and transit-related regulatory requirements. A Trader or Agent submits all information required for clearance once to the single window service Rwanda Revenue Authority Rwanda Bureau of Standards Select, sort , filter information, routes it to targeted recipients ( agencies, bank ,etc .) in the proper sequence or flow and returns responses to trader Other ControlAgencies WarehouseOperators Responses from various authorities and financial institutions are returned to trader or agent.   9. MAGERWA ICD • Features: • Automatic transfer of information (MAGERWA & Customs systems) • Arrival Notice available on-line • Saves time to re-capture data which is available on the Manifest • Reports Rwanda Electronic Single Window

  10. RWANDA DEVELOPMENT BOARD (RDB) • Features: • Automatic generation of Exemption Request (Customs Agents) • On-line RDB authorizations (Exemptions) • Notification of the importers with online access to follow-up transactions Rwanda Electronic Single Window

  13. BANKS Features: • Online Payment • Validation of receipt in ReSW • Issuance of receipt • Notification sent to importers • On-line reports banks
