Excitement and Lessons from Taking Math Tests
Math is my favorite subject, and taking math tests fills me with excitement! I love the thrill of answering questions like 3+3, but I learned an important lesson about sharing my excitement. When I yelled out the answer, my teacher told me that it could make other students feel sad. Now, I remember that during tests, I need to write my answers down and raise my hand to share in class. This helps everyone feel included and celebrated, and I still get to enjoy math!

Taking A Math Test
I love math ! It is my favorite subject in school. I always do well in math.
When I see 3+3 on the paper, I get real excited!
I YELL OUT 6!!!! FOR EVERYONE TO HEAR!!!
She told me that when I yell out the answers, I may make other students feel sad that they are not as good as math as me.
I learned that there are times when I can say an answer and there are times when I have to write an answer.
When we are in a group and the teacher asks a question, I can raise my hand and say the answer.
When we have math tests I have to writemy answers on my paper. 3+3=
Here is how I remember: When my teacher gives me my math test, I look at the paper and I say to myself….
STOP Before I take the test my teacher puts a stop sign on my desk and says, “This is a pencil test, you have to write your answers ”.
When I get that excited feeling about math I look at my sign and tell myself “This is a pencil test I have to write my answers on my paper.”
When I do that my teacher and all my friends in my class are happy.
And so am I!
