  2. Polar ice capsMars has polar ice caps just like Earth. They are located on the north and south poles of Mars. Most of the ice on mars are water-ice.

  3. Valles MarinerisThe Valles Marineris is huge! If you think the Grand Canyon is enormous then take a better look at the Valles Marineris on Mars, its 4000 km long, 200 km wide and 7 km deep.

  4. Olympus Mons Olympus Mons is the tallest mountain in the solar system at 22 km high. It is almost three times the size of Mount Everest. It is also a shield volcano.

  5. Mars Rover The Mars Rovers were sent to explore Mars on 1971,1971, 1997, 2004 Jan. 4 and 2004 Jan. 25. They have sent five rovers to Mars and two of them have failed.
