Question 1: Any comments About ALEKS? • I found that 4 out of 14 people gave negative comments • 3 people form the 14 said that the online class took too much time • Analysis: more students gave problematic responses about aleks
Question 2: How did math 5 prepare you for math 21? 1 not prepared and 10 ready • 36 % of the students who tool the survey said that ALEKS did not prepare them for math 21 • Analysis: Math 5 did not prepare students the level of thinking that they need in order to solve advance math problems
Question 3: Would you take math 5 off-campus if you had the option to? explain • 6 out of 14 people said they would take math 5 off campus • The majority rest said no • Analysis: Having the options of taking math 5 off campus would be a great option for those who want to finish their major early
Question 4:Would you take math 5 in a classroom setting even if it cost more? • 11 out of 14 said they would pay more to take math 5 in a class room setting • Analysis: Students prefer to take math 5 with a teacher in class
Question 5: How difficult is/was ALEKS? 1 being Easy and 10 very hard • 27% answered 10 • Analysis: ALEKS is hard for students because they feel like they don’t understand
Question 6:What is your opinion about ALEKS? 1 is awesomely good and 5 horrible • The survey shows that people are in the middle about math 5 • Analysis: Math students don’t feel sure about Math 5 online
Question 7: If so, was it online with ALEKS or in person? Explain why? • Nine student took ALEKS online • Analysis: people took ALEKS
Question 8: Have you taken math 5? • This question shows the different methods of students taken the class such as online, in class, or have passed the AP Exam
