  2. DUAT does not have a DATE entry, so do not file more than 24 hours before flight An ADIZ Flight Plan goes ONLY from a GATE to somewhere inside the ADIZ, or from inside the ADIZ to a GATE. Do not put the rest of your trip on the ADIZ flight plan Must be type IFR so that it goes to ATC instead of FSS Putting VFR/ before the requested altitude tells them its a VFR ADIZ flight plan Note – The JKO Maneuvering Area only goes up to the base of the Class B. Stay under 1,500 ft. Putting ADIZ DUAT in the comments tells them how it was transmitted, but it still requires VFR/ in the altitude.
