  3. My role at WYGISC- Research Scientist Ed Coordinator ESRI Ed-Site License Administrator Grant Writer and Project Manger Involved in WBD & NHD development and stewardship since 1999. (Wyoming, California, Alaska)

  4. Wyoming NHD/WBD Grants- WBD/NHD funding through Cooperative Agreements/Grants with- BLM USGS, WY-WBD, EPA/DEQ (Clean Water Act (CWA) 319) http://www.epa.gov/nps/cwact.html

  5. Wyoming NHD/WBD Grants cont… Work share efforts from- USFS, USGS, NRCS, neighboring states In-kind matching from local, state, federal entities NSDI Partnership grants Enhancements- dams and gaging stations Stewardship- Promotional

  6. Successful Efforts- Highly dependent on coordination and collaborative efforts of all involved. Collaborative proposals and projects have better likelihood to be funded and successfully completed. Leverage other existing efforts/projects to gain interest for support.

  7. Considerations- Don’t over promise and under deliver (Can always modify and do more) Estimate coordination involved, then double it
