Plans for these are moving apace and we anticipate launching in early June. More details will be following shortly. Meanwhile HSJ are requesting nominations for inspirational women in healthcare .YH must have a rich source of these – make your nomination at www.hsj.co.uk/nominate These programmes aim to maximise the contribution of nurse leaders to their current role An independent evaluation of our first YH participants’ experience was overwhelmingly positive. 100 further places, 50 on each programme, are now planned for YH. We already have a waiting list but further applications are welcome. We would particularly welcome applications from nurse leaders in primary and community care as these are under represented in our current applications. For more details please email: Nerys.davies@yh.hee.nhs.uk

  4. Regional News We have launched our Leadership 2020 Vision and Development Strategy consultation – details of how you can contribute will follow shortly. Contact joanna.valentine@yh.hee.nhs.uk Vision and Strategy OD network Talent Listening Events Evaluation Workshop We are getting a very positive response from strategic OD and transformation leads across YH to the new network and development programme. 17 of them created a successful and stimulating sharing event last week in response to the Francis report. For details of the programme and feedback from the Francis workshop, please contact Hannah.Shore@yh.hee.nhs.uk Invitations for our regional Evaluation event on 11 June have now been sent out to HRDs, Leadership and OD leads. This workshop will share our collective thinking about what leadership development interventions are proving effective and how we evidence these. If you haven’t received an invitation and are interested in attending, please contact Hannah.Shore@yh.hee.nhs.uk The Talent Listening workshops with the Academy have been arranged for 23 May (Sheffield), 24 May (York) and 29 May (Leeds). These are open to anyone who is interested in, has experienced or is providing leadership talent development in the region. They are designed to help co-create a new shared approach to talent development across the NHS. On 11 July HRDs, Leadership and OD leads and E&D leads, together with current participants and alumni from our regional talent development programmes are being invited to attend our YH talent Day.
