  2. Concept of Skin-Care Finishing • Concept of raw materials: • From cosmetics • Moisture management • From natural products • Skin-care • Gentle to skin • Sensation • Balanced • Emollient • Natural

  3. Skin care products • Tender Biotouch SLKSilk protein (Silk amino acid) • Tender Biotouch SQ Squalane • Tender Biotouch ALVChitosan / Aloë Vera • Tender Biotouch VTE Vitamin E • Tender Biotouch MCO Marine Collagen / Natural protein

  4. Aloë Vera • Aloe extract • Contains the same ingredients as the Aloe Vera plant, due to careful extraction • Aloe Vera Gel consists for 99.3% of water. The remaining 0.7% are the solids that consist for a large part of polysaccharides of the glucose and mannose type. Together with the enzymes and amino-acids in the gel they give the gel the special properties as a skin care product. The gel stimulates cell growth and as such enhances the restoration of damaged skin. It moisturizes the skin because it has a water holding capacity. This moist on the skin also has a cooling effect.

  5. Aloë Vera • Benefits Of Aloe Vera • Did you know that the skin absorbs Aloe Vera up to four times faster than water? It appears that Aloe Vera can actually help the pores of the skin to open and receive the moisture and nutrients of Aloe Vera. • Aloe can aid in keeping the skin supple, and has been used in the control of acne and eczema. It can relieve itching due to insect bites and allergies. Aloe's healing power come from the availability of oxygen to the skin, and by increasing the synthesis and increasing strength of tissue. • Aloe, native to Africa, is also known as "lily of the desert", the "plant of immortality", and the "medicine plant". The name was derived from the Arabic alloeh meaning "bitter" because of the bitter liquid found in the leaves. • In cosmetics: smoothing, calming, anti-irritating, moisturizing, anti-oxidant and skin protection

  6. Silk protein • Silk protein • Made of serine protein coming from silk • In cosmetics: especially moisturizing and skin softening effects

  7. Collagen • Collagen Peptide • Collagen is a major structural protein, forming molecular cables that strengthen the tendons and vast, resilient sheets that support the skin and internal organs • In cosmetics: Helps to moisturize and to emolliate the skin and counteract the effects of skin aging

  8. Squalane • Squalane • Squalane has excellent skin-tolerance and is very similar to human sebum (skin oil). Either collected from special shark species or from modified olive oil • In cosmetics: one of the most effective anti-oxidants. Poly-functional, with very good spreading properties and penetration into the skin. It prevents drying of the skin and restores its suppleness and flexibility of the skin

  9. Chitosan • Chitosan • Made from Chitin, which is the second largest organic substance after cellulose. It is found in the shell of crustaceans like crab, lobster, shrimps and insects • In cosmetics remarkably well tolerated by the skin • Trapper of heavy metals which are responsible for very many contact allergies • Effective and lasting hydrating agent

  10. THERMOCOOL-MAX • This speciality provides a special cool sensation when the body is warm and sweaty • Special blend of plant extracts (among others from Birch) which takes heat from the skin while it is getting wet and provides thus a cooling effect

  11. TENDER BIOSLIM • Provide hot sensation and better blood circulation in the skin and skin warming / slimming • Contains a blend of extracts from plants [chilli & capsicin] • It increases the blood circulation in the skin and provides a warm feeling

  12. Technical issues • Application • Most TENDER BIOTOUCH products have weak cationic nature, except for TENDER BIOTOUCH-VTE, which is anionic. • TENDER BIOTOUCH products have a high affinity to most fibres. Therefore they can be applied by exhaustion and by padding.

  13. Technical issues • The cationic products are recommended for cotton, viscose, polynosic, Lyocel, polyester/cellulose, polyester, wool and acrylics • The ionic nature and the characteristics of the vesicle structure provide a good performance in respect of washing resistance. It is however recommended to give a hand wash with a gentle non-ionic soap to maintain the “cosmetic effects” as long as possible.
