The 8th Global RCE Conference on Knowledge-Based Area Development (KBAD) held in Nairobi, Kenya, from November 26-29, 2013, focused on fostering community self-reliance for sustainable development. Led by Professor M. Alimullah Miyan, this initiative promotes education, skill development, and the creation of human capital to enhance social mobility, thereby benefiting entire communities. With an emphasis on inclusivity, the program aims to equip individuals from disadvantaged backgrounds with the resources needed for socio-economic growth through accessible market-oriented education.

Mandatory ESD for All under KBAD • Knowledge-based Society for learning Ethics, Moral Justice & Respect • Grooming up as Skilled Human Resource for National and International Job Markets • Industrial Safety, Compliance & Auditing • Educational Motivation throughout Bangladesh
Achievements • Establishment of IMCSL as a prelude to Education Bank • Establishment of Financial Assistance Fund (FAF) • Establishment of University Education Extension Unit (UEEU) to Outreach KBAD • 12,000 students covering entire Bangladesh
