Dissolving Committees. The filing official may automatically dissolve a Candidate Committee with a Reporting Waiver : when an officeholder vacates office or an individual is defeated in the election Committee must meet all of the requirements to dissolve.

Dissolving Committees • The filing official may automatically dissolve a Candidate Committee with a Reporting Waiver : • when an officeholder vacates office or • an individual is defeated in the election • Committee must meet all of the requirements to dissolve. • Candidate may request to remain active in writing • Committees can file Dissolution Campaign Statements to dissolve their committee • Committees with a valid Reporting Waiver may file a Single Page Dissolution Statement • In order to be eligible for dissolution a committee must: • Have $0 balance (See Appendix W for disposition of unexpended funds) • All debts must be paid or forgiven • Committee must have no outstanding filings or fees
