Company Background • IntevaProducts Shanghai SAMAP is a joint venture between Inteva Products and STEC. • SAMAP has the manufacturing operations and design capacities in Shanghai. • Is a supplier for Volkswagen, SAIC Motors, Great Wall Motors and General Motors. • Implemented QAD Enterprise Application 2009 SE in 2010

QAD Application • Lack of inventory accuracy or a single location called “OT”; that is: • Inventory that’s “Out There” somewhere • Lack of real-time information • A need to eliminate manual logging of raw materials • Lack of ability to track materials from receiving through production and then shipping by means of an automated system that provides full lot traceability.
