The Following Criteria Analyzed • Smell of the popcorn when immediately removed from microwave • Fluff of each popped kernel • Flavor of each popped kernel • The quality of butter • The effectiveness of the advertising • The number of un-popped kernels remaining when bag was cooked for 2 min 30 sec. 10 volunteers were chosen to rate each criteria

  4. The Options Included • Act II • Orville Redenbacher • Pop Secret Each company has spent decades serving customers with the most prestigious popcorn products on the market. So which brand is better for a movie night snack? Surveys were conducted. Data was collected to calculate the average and variance ratings for each different criteria. We then put together all the results and was successfully able to determine the preferred products.

Conclusion of results • Amongst Act II, Orville Redenbacher, and Pop-Secret, it is evident that the results of the survey recommended an individual to purchase Pop-Secret. • This study enabled a deeper understanding of how characteristics of a product contribute to the intensity at which an individual desires it.
