General Ledger Basics Insure that Reports has been Updated • To check if PS8 Financials Report (PS8FSRPT) is current, pull up a journal that was posted the previous day • The nightly process to refresh Financials Report is automated…. It sometimes fails. • If you suspect that it has not been refreshed by 8:00 a.m. (Monday thru Friday), notify me immediately.

General Ledger Basics Changing your NT Password • Never change your password at PS Desktop or Database (Only on Your Regular Network Sign-on)
General Ledger Basics Changing your NT Password • Never change your password with more than one PS Desktop session open.
General Ledger Basics Changing your NT Password • If you experience strange nVision or query errors after changing your password, log off completely (Shut down your computer), wait a minute or two, then restart. If you are still experiencing difficulties, (See Clearing your User Cache….)
