The BattLEDship project revitalizes the classic board game Battleship using modern technology. Our innovative design employs surface-mounted LEDs and reflective sensors, managed by an Arduino Mega 2560, to create an engaging and interactive experience. We have reached important milestones, including the schematic design for our PCB, which serves as the foundation for connecting all hardware components. Despite delays in LED arrival impacting our schedule, we remain committed to testing and assembling our project upon their arrival. Together, we aim to create a unique gaming experience.

Re-creation of the classic board game Battleship • Materials: • Surface-mounted LEDs • Reflective sensors • Arduino Mega 2560 OVERVIEW
OTHER ACCOMPLISHMENTS • Schematic design for PCB • Important milestone that was not added • Foundation block needed before the group can continue to design and connect parts together • This design plays a huge role into how the hardware will be connected

ISSUES/CONCERNS • Due to how long it’s taking for LEDs to arrive: • All milestones that deal with the LEDs are delayed • Cannot do any testing between the sensors and LEDs • Milestone originally created for best case scenario; Everything will need to be adjusted to make up for delay. • Hardware implementation: rely heavily on schematic design of PCB
CONCLUSION • Due to a minor delay, the team is currently behind schedule on building the project • As soon as LEDs arrive, testing and assembling will begin to determine how LEDs and sensors must be connected to achieve our goal for the project.
