  1. Mission and Vision of Harvest Church We love, because He first loved us. 1John 4(19)

  2. God's Big Picture • God's Vision – To create man in His image  Gen 1(27) God created man in His own image, in the image of God He created him; male and female He created them.   • God's Mission-- That God, through His sons and daughters, would portray to the world His true character and values, to:  Gen 1(28a)“Be fruitful and multiply, and fill the earth, and subdue it”

  3. Our Big Picture Harvest's Vision -- “Be yourself and do it with God.” • It’s our goal to create a safe environment for people to express their unique identity and understand their value as sons and daughters.   Harvest's Mission – "Esteeming all people" • It’s our heart to effectively motivate, cherish, and honor people through the Father’s love; releasing them to fulfill God’s assignment in the uniqueness of their own personality and calling in a safe environment.

  4. We fulfill this vision-mission by expressing the genuine Gospel of Jesus Christ. • Foresight-- We desire to see the Father's Kingdom coming to earth (the Lord's prayer). • Insight-- We position ourselves to encounter the Father's love ("come and taste and see that the Lord is good"). • Oversight-- We support and send out disciples to fulfill His mission (the Great Commission).

  5. A Kingdom Focus • Jesus declared, “Truly, truly, I say to you, unless one is born again he cannot see the kingdom of God. Jn. 3(3) • Jesus promised,“but seek first His Kingdom and His righteousness, and all these things will be added unto you.” Matt 6(33) • Jesus commanded, “the time is fulfilled, and the Kingdom of God is at hand; repent and believe in the Gospel.” Mark1(15) If you can see the Kingdom you can seek the Kingdom and by seekingthe Kingdom you can seizethe kingdom.

  6. We Fulfill this Mission Through the Designs of: • Engaging in intimate worship   • Teaching Kingdom theology from the Father's heart  • Creating a family culture through house churches  • Providing out reach ministries (food pantry, Park heights, treasure hunts, itinerate influence) • Supporting “our” Missionaries   • Implementing Sozo healing ministry (body, soul, spirit)   • Establishing children's ministries (our future) • Mentoring disciples through spiritual Fathers and Mothers • Developing a life-giving prophetic ministry  • Expressing the culture of the Kingdom in every day life (Culture Evangelism)

  7. In a Nut Shell • What We Do: • Love - - as He loved us, unconditionally, mercy triumphs over judgment.   • Worship -- together as a family, in pursuit of His presence.  • Give - - generously with our lives, money, muscles, & minutes.  • Grow --  empowered by grace and freedom in the New Covenant.  • Influence -- culture with the transforming power of God’s goodness. Who We Are: • Family --We honor, value, celebrate, and pursue healthy relationships.   • Providers of a safe place-- You're safe to be you, with us.   • Powerful-- We minister by the Spirit, naturally and supernaturally.    • Sons & Daughters --Our identity is not about what we do, it’s about who we are in Christ.    • Kingdom Minded --The Kingdom is here now, and we’re optimistic about our future.
