Bats. Nolan. Bat description. Bats are the only true flying mammals. People are scared of bats so they destroy there habitats. Bats have no fur on their wings but fur on the other parts of the body. Bats live all over B ritish Columbia especially near ponds because they have insects to eat.

  2. Bat description • Bats are the only true flying mammals. People are scared of bats so they destroy there habitats. • Bats have no fur on their wings but fur on the other parts of the body. • Bats live all over British Columbia especially near ponds because they have insects to eat.

  3. Habitat • Bats live in caves, abandon mineshafts and crevices. • Bats can also live in trees and people also sometimes build houses for them. • Bats eat different things like fruit or insects, but vampire bats drink the blood from animals like cows and horses but rarely human. Newborn bats drink their mothers milk because their mammals, full grown bats drink water.

Communities Impact Bats • People think bats are harmful but there somewhat harmless people destroy bat habitats because people say bats carry disease and suck peoples blood but there’s a better chance of getting a disease from a bug than getting a disease from a bat. • Bats usually live by ponds and people might clear that pond so bats won’t have anything to eat.

  5. Connections • Bats live in caves, and people live in houses to a bat a cave is like a home, to people a house is a home they’re connected. • Some bugs destroy natural resources like trees and plants, but bats eat bugs so their helping communities protect trees. • Us and bats are connected because bats drink water we drink water so bats and humans are connected.
