  2. 2012-2013 Accomplishments • Funding Factory Recycling Fundraiser • Open Book Pilot Program • Title III and Title III Immigrant • Health and Wellness Attempted: • Golden Rod • LEGO Children’s Fund • American Girl

  3. To Do List • Goldenrod status? (Contact Rick Ervich 888-827-2260 ext 106) • Funding Factory letters for students/parents along with new boxes for ALL 3 buildings. • Check status of materials (comic books, posters, flyers, coloring books, labels) from DSNY Waste Prevention, Reuse and Recycling. Push a recycling program throughout school & include it in sustainability plan. • Write up a review on school http://www.greatschools.org/ to win $5,000.

  4. Goals • Boxtops • Lowes Grant (re: greenhouse) http://www.toolboxforeducation.com/ • http://grants.kidsgardening.org/ Many grants available but range from $500-$1,500 • BOKS (Build Our Kids’ Success) Activation Grant from the Reebok Foundation. $1,000 toward a before-school physical activity program. Reebok Foundation • Save the Music Grant from VH1 Save the Music Foundation to implement an instrumental music instruction curriculum with a certified, qualified instructor.
