Uganda in east Africa is worth travelling and trekking. If you have planned for the trekking here are some tips to help you to trek better: 1. Appropriate dress for trekking

  2. The weather and the place allow you to wear a lot of layers. You can start by wearing a shirt or even a t-shirt. Since rainstorms can happen at any time in the forest you can be prepared for it by carrying a rain layer. Though it is dangerous to be wet and cold for hours after you are drenched yet it is adventurous. In the bottom pants are the best option. It creates a protection from mosquitoes and the prickly nettle plants of the forest. Wearing shorts will invite stings of both plants and mosquitoes, the later leading to malaria. Rain pants can also be worn over the pants to avoid the wetness from the rain. But the material of both the shirt and pant should preferably synthetic. 2. Appropriate footwear for the trekking The foot wear undoubtedly should be high boots that goes up to the knee length. The muddy area of the forest tends to pull off the boots, so knee length boots along with a strong grip. 3. Carrying enough food You must carry enough food with you so that you don’t need to starve in emergency or otherwise because sometimes the trekking extends till the afternoon. So, you need to bring some food and even a liter of water along with you. 4. The camera should be ready for the trek
