  1. Reality, imagination or something else? .

  2. Let’s have a trip of the universe at high speed, jumping distances by the factor of 10.

  3. Starting with 100 equivalent to 1 meter, and increasing sizes by factor of 10s, or 101 (10 meters), 102 (10x10 = 100 meters), 103 (10x10x10 = 1.000 meters) and so on, until the limits of our inmagination.

  4. We’ll return, a little faster, up to the point where we started and would continue our trip in the opposite direction.

  5. BON VOYAGE!

  6. 100 1 meter Distance to a bunch of leaves in the garden

  7. 101 10 meters We can see the foliage

  8. 102 100 meters We can see the limits of the forest and the surroundingsat this distance

  9. 103 1 km Now it is possible to jump with a parachute

  10. 104 10 km The whole city can be observed

  11. 105 100 km We can see the state of Florida – USA.

  12. 106 1.000 km A typical sight from a satellite

  13. 107 10.000 km The northern hemisphere of Earth showing a part of South America

  14. 108 100,000 km The Earth starts looking smaller

  15. 109 1 million km The Earth and the Moon’s orbit in white

  16. 1010 10 millions km A part of the Earth’s orbit in blue

  17. 1011 100 millions km Orbits of Venus and Earth

  18. 1012 1 billion km Orbits of Mercury, Venus, Earth, Mars and Jupiter.

  19. 1013 10 billions km At this height of our trip, we can observe the Solar System and the orbits of the planets

  20. 1014 100 billions km The Solar System starts looking smaller

  21. 1015 1 trillion km Nowthe Sun is a small star in the middle of thousands other stars

  22. 1016 1 light-year The little Sun star is very small at one light-year

  23. 1017 10 light-years Here we will see nothing in the infinity

  24. 1018 100 light-years Nothing, only stars and Nebulae

  25. 1019 1,000 light-years At this distance, we start travelling the Via-Lactea (Milky Way) our galaxy

  26. 1020 10,000 light-years We continue our travel inside the Via-Lactea

  27. 1021 100,000 light-years We reach the periphery of the Via-Lactea

  28. 1022 1 million light-years We can see all the Via-Lactea & other galaxiesat this tremendous distance

  29. 1023 - 10 million light-years From this distance, all the galaxies look small with inmense empty spaces in between. We can further continue traveling upwards with our imagination but we’ll return home quickly from here

  49. 103 Or... what do we represent in this Universe?

  50. 102 We went to the power of 23 of 10in the upwards trip.
