  3. What is GRE? • Stands for Graduate Record Exam • General • Subject • Very expensive • $140 for general • $130for subject • Required for most of graduate schools

  5. GRE Psychology Subject Test • Three sections • Experimental • Social • General (history…etc) • 205 questions total, multiple choice • Do not have to answer all the questions • Penalty for incorrect answers • Only in paper-and-pencil • 200~990 total, 20~99 for the 3 subscales

  12. How to take GRE • www.gre.org to register • Scores remain for 5 years • Do not take one cold-feet! • Can opt out from seeing your score • General - five days a week • Subject - 3 times a year (Oct., Nov.,& Apr) • Be taken once per calendar month, no more than 5 times a year
