CASE • Founded in 1973, United States of America • Merger of two associations (fundraising and alumni relations), now a wide range of professions • Started in the UK 1994, Asia-Pacific 2007, Latina America 2011 and Africa 2013… • As at October 2015 • Circa 4,000 institutions • and 80,000 members

  4. ADVANCEMENT Advancement (dɛfɪˈnɪʃ(ə)n): • the act of moving forward • the act or result of making something better, more successful, etc. • the act of being raised to a higher rank or position
