Canned motor pumps offer great advantages in the fi eld of operation, maintenance and performance. • Technology at the highest stage • One critical item when using conventional centrifugal pumps is to seal the shaft passages on the pump casing. Besides the high rate of repairs, this is a reason for the steadily increasing use of seal-less pumps. The praxis shows that seal-less pumps generally have less repairs than in comparison with conventional chemical pumps with mechanical seal and consequently, they feature a longer service life. • The refrigeration and cooling industry has also used canned motor pumps for a long time without any problems.
