Comes from Greek terms, monos (Single) Form of government in which the ruddle power is in often by illegal means. A form of government in which the ruling power is in the hands of all people. Form of government in which the ruling power is in the hands of a few leaders. A form of government in which the ruling power is in the hands of a single person. Greek turns oligos (Meaning few) Greek word for “Usurper with supreme power. “People” They had one ruler to rule everything that was like a God. They had power by few & they were really healthy. Once in power they stayed in the law, as something else. The people would disagree with each other & try to make laws that would only be better for themselves. They stopped because of fighting between kingdoms in Asia Minor. It started disappearing in Greece because the people who lived well ruled harshly. They became harsh & greedy so most of the time were simply overthrown by the people.
