  2. Background of School • High School – 1200 students • Middle Class Suburbs of Rochester • Period Schedule • Leads the way in piloting new schemes and ideas. • Very open to change • Well equipped school with science labs and tech rooms • Supportive and understanding parents

  7. Proposed Changes NEW TEACHER • We will look to hire one new teacher to cover class time. • Certified in Math and Science • Full time • Student Teachers to assist teach MST • Partnership with local colleges

  8. What We Need From Board • $44,370 to cover the cost of a new teacher salary • Budget allocation for general replacement of equipment and materials • Approval of schedule change • Approval and acceptance of MST pilot program, curriculum and assessment.
