  3. Project background • Implemented as part of the LOGO South Programme • Partnership with SALGA • Aprox 10 LOGO Muni’s – fully covered 2011 • 2 Non Logo Muni’s – Co-funding

  4. Methodology • Learning benchmark • Qualitative and Quantitative • Self assessments and Peer assessments • Capacity building • 2 cycles (2011/2012) • Cycle 1 – May – December 2011 • Cycle 2 – January – December 2012

  6. Expectations/ Responsibilities • Sign MoU (Council endorsed) • Managing relations • Clearing out responsibilities • Selection of key focal person • Allocation of staff time • Liason channels • Financial implications • Full commitment • Co-Funding for non LOGO municipalities
