  4. Accommodations Manual • Just under 500 responses on the accommodations manual • ~35% of responses were cut and paste from a blog post • Letters from several groups of stakeholders were also sent and will be reviewed • About 145 responses to the EL section 4

Technology for PARCC • Headphones/earphones are required for all students for all PARCC assessments in 2015. • Some student accommodations may also require headphones/ earphones (e.g., text to speech). • Microphones may be required for all students taking the Speaking and Listening Assessment. • Some student accommodations may also require microphones (e.g., speech-to-text; voice controls) for other parts of the PARCC assessments. 11

  14. 2014 – Field Testing Here is what we know: Spring Window for Performance Based Assessment (PBA) Window for End of Year Assessment (EOY) Approximately 3 week windows Students will take one test or the other Only a few students will take both PBA and EOY Same platform as the Science and Social Studies tests 14
