Also consist of molecular oxygen , Sodium, Hydrogen , helium , & potassium. • NASA’s messenger probe was one thing that was sent to mercury, discovering weird landscapes and its magnetic core • Three interesting facts: is mercury has volcanoes,Half of mercury has never been seen , also it has its own atmosphere.

  3. Venus • The planet Venus was named after the roman goddess of love. • Features that Venus has is volcanoes and also large craters, also may have been a ocean on Venus • Venus is covered by rocky grounds ashes or crust from volcanic lava, not yet figured out what makes up Venus. • Venus was the first planet to have a probe reach it , soviet spaceship Venera 7.all in all had seven probes reach Venus. • Three interesting facts about Venus is it is called earths twin, it is the brightest star, because of the amount of clouds on Venus if you were on Venus you couldn’t see the earth or the sun

  4. Mars • Mars is named after the roman god of war. • Mars’s major features is its giant canyons , also red soil. • Mars consist of carbon dioxide, nitrogen , argon , oxygen, carbon monoxide,& water vapor along with other gases. • Sent on Nov. 26 landed Aug 6 was “ mars science laboritory” it studys rocks,& soil and the overall geological setting. • 3 interesting facts is..one , the month of march is names after mars. Two, mars crust is thicker then earths..three, its average temperature there is 80 degrees

  5. Jupiter • a major feature In Jupiter is a storm system that has been there for around 300 years • Jupiter got its from the roman king of gods , also the god of the sky • Jupiter is mostly made of hydrogen and helium, it is a gas planet • Some technology that was sent to Jupiter was pioneer 10 sent in1973 , also pioneer 11 , and voyagers 1 & 2. 8 probes have actually been sent to Jupiter. • Three interesting facts about Jupiter is Jupiter is the fastest spinning planet, core of Jupiter is metal , it is over 1400 times bigger then earth.

  6. Saturn • Name comes from roman god , god of agriculture • A major feature is its rings • It is made up of mostly hydrogen, 96%, and also helium, and 1% that includes methane , ethane, and hydrogen deuteride. • Pioneer 11 , voyager 2 visit saturn, hey were fly bys meaning thy never landed. • Saturn is least dense planet in solar system ,saturn has 60 moons, saturn is the shape of a falttened ball

  7. Uranus • Got its named after the greek god of the sky • Planet is made of methane, hydrogen, and helium • Major features are it s tilted on its side, third gas giant • Three interesting facts 5 of its moons have ice, discovered on accident, • Electronics that have visited is voyger 2 in 1977. discovered 2 rings and 10 moons

  8. Neptune • Got its name from the roman god of the sea • Planet is made of 80% hydrogen and 19% helium • Major features are it has a storm system called the great dark spot, it is tilted on its axis • Three interesting facts is Neptune has strongest winds out of all planets, has 13 moons , farthest planet from the sun • A Electronisthat have came is voyger 2 flew by in 1989 and it recorded how man moons it has.

  9. Pluto • Pluto is not a planet anymore because it did not meet the requirements that a planet needed to meet. • Pluto did not meet the third criteria to be a planet which was it must be able to protect its neighbor planets from any objects in the area and be able to dominate. • Made into a dwarf planet
