Prepare for Catalina Adventure: Important Travel and Packing Details

Join us for an exciting trip to Catalina! Meet at student parking on Thursday at 9:30 PM. Please place your luggage on the sidewalk and check in with your chaperone by the auditorium. Remember, all luggage must have a yellow tag. Bring a sack lunch for the journey, as dinner is the first meal on Friday. Pack essentials including lab books, swimming suits, towels, flip-flops, and a sleeping bag. Arrive early, participate enthusiastically, and stay committed to your assigned groups. Let's make this trip unforgettable!

Catalina Stuff • Meet Thurs. at 9:30 pm in student parking • Place luggage on sidewalk • Check in with your chaperone, check in with your chaperone, check in with your chaperone, check in with your chaperone! They will be on the sidewalk by the auditorium. • Your luggage and any item that you are not carrying with you at all times should have a YELLOW tag on it. (Fabric, yarn, ribbon, etc. No tag = no luggage.) • Our 1st meal is not until dinner on Friday. Bring $ for when we make our breakfast stop and bring a sack lunch for when we 1st get to the island.

Catalina cont. • What to pack list is on the Catalina tab…Don’t forget to bring: • Lab Books • Two swimming suits • Two towels (1 for the beach, 1 for the shower) • Flipflops for the shower • Underwater camera (~$15 at Target) • SLEEPING BAG, pillow and a warm blanket • Ways to make Ms. Hatch happy! • BE EARLY, BE EARLY, BE EARLY, BE EARLY, BE EARLY • Participate in all activities: Be enthusiastic…your instructors feed off your energy. • You may NOT switch Research groups or Room assignments: I need to know that you are where you should be.
