  4. God’s Solution to the Mess God’s solution: Go marry an adulterous wife Hosea 1:2 And raise unfaithful children Hosea 1:3-9 Jezreel = The place where the final destruction of Samaria took place Lo-Ruhamah = not loved Lo-Ammi = not my people This was us at one time!!!!

  5. God’s Grace Hosea 1:10-2:1 Great news! You will be like the sands of the seashore You will be called sons of the living God You will be “my people”, “my loved ones”

  6. Hosea 2:2-13 Judgment for Unfaithfulness This is us before God called us to himself. 2:5-8 This was you. Not a pretty picture. but…. (thank God for those buts!)

  13. God’s Final Words Through Hosea Hosea 13:4-6 Do not become satisfied. (Matthew 5:6) Hosea 14: Words of hope and deliverance. Hosea 14:1-3 Repent and return. Hosea 14:4-7 I will forgive you and love you.
