The shift began gradually as talk radio became popular, then Fox News and now the Internet media. • Internet Technology: As of March 31, 2009, about 1.6 billion people use the Internet and growth is 342% between 2000-2008 according to Internet World Stats. Worldwide spending on Internet advertising will total about $ 70 billion in 2009, which represents nearly 10% of all ad spending across all media. • NRI population: Isgrowingabout 100 percent every 10 years and 10 times the national average according to the U.S. Census Bureau. It is estimated that there are over 25 million NRIs worldwide • India’s open door policy: Since this open door policy was adopted and more than 50 million people in India like to do business overseas especially with NRIs.
